Fully Envolved Car Fire Gets Night Started For Spotsylvania Volunteers

Around 6:00pm when volunteers were coming on duty at Spotsylvania stations units were dispatched to a car fire off Augusta Ct. in Lee's Hill North. When units arrived on the scene they reported one vehicle fully envolved. Crews quickly deployed a 1 3/4 bumper line and extinguished the fire. Crews cleared the scene around 6:40pm. Car Fire on I-95

On Sunday August 24, units were dispatched to a car fire on interstate 95 northbound near the thornburg exit , when units arrived on the scene they reported one vehicle with fire showing in the engine compartment. Crews quickly deployed the handline and began attacking the fire. The fire was contained mainly to the engine compartment and crews were able to clear the interstate quickly.... Rearend Collision Slows Southbound Traffic I-95

On Saturday Aug 23 units were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident near the on ramp to I-95. When units arrived on the scene they reported a two vehicle rear end collision with one patient still inside one vehicle. A summer rain made for challenging driving conditions . Units were dispatched to several major motor vehicle accidents in the evening hours as a heavy rain storm moved thru the area.
