- On Monday May 14, 2012 units were dispatched to a trailer at Graninger trailer park on Harrison road. When the first unit arrived on the scene they reported fire showing. Vehicle into House On Marye Road

- Just after midnight in the early morning hours of Saturday May 5th, units were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Marye road with report of one vehicle into a residence. When units arrived on the scene they confirmed one car had hit a residence and attempted to leave the scene. Company 8 Hosts Second Annual Open House

- On Sunday April 29,2012 Spotsylvania Volunteer Fire Department hosted thier second annual open house at thier station located on Rt. 1 just north of the Thornburg intersection. Vehicle Vs Tractor and Trailer Turns Out To Be Fatal On Interstate

- Around 11:45pm on April 18, 2012, Units were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with one passenger vehicle versus a tractor trailer at the 121 mile marker of I95 northbound. When the first unit arrived on the scene they reported one vehicle under the rear of the tractor and trailer with heavy entrapment. Overturned Near Pick-A-Part

- On Saturday night April 14th, Units were dispatched to an overturned vehicle on Jefferson Davis Hwy. Several reports said there was one vehicle off the road over turned.
